  1. Android Work Profile (Employee Privacy enhancement)

Setting this as ManicTime Server as there is no "ManicTime Android" listed.

Its great that ManicTime is available on Android .. but one of the big problems is that Android is filled with limitations that prevent ManicTIme from doing more.

I think the easiest solution that would work would be if ManicTime operated only within a selected Profile (e.g. Personal or Work) ..

On GSuite you can use the MDM to allow company devices to have a Work Profile and a Personal Profile. Work Profile then has a series of restrictions, forced installs, etc.

I would like to track the…

  2. Selective Server Sync (Employee Privacy enhancement)

Currently an employee, working from home, tags all their time in ManicTime. But its currently an all or nothing approach when it comes to syncing to the server.

Instead .. have an indicator bar on the top of the timelines that shows which segments are to be sync'd to the Server ... an employee selects time on any timeline .. right-clicks and chooses "Submit to Server" .. then that time segment is sync'd to the server based on the server settings of 'what to sync" (E.g. sync everything or specific timelines)

This allows employees to keep track of their time…

  3. Additional features for Connectwise Plugin

Allow for status changes and marking as resolution for the ConnectWise plugin would allow me to almost never have to actually use ConnectWise

  6. Support ARM architecture for ManicTime Server on Linux

When running ManicTime Server on my Raspberry PI 4, I get the following error:

-bash: ./ManicTimeServer: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

It appears the ARM architecture is currently not supported.

I would love support for ARM devices so I can run ManicTime Server on my Raspberry PI.

  8. Additional Rounding for Save Tags as Timesheet Task in FreshBooks

In the Save Tags as Timesheet Task in FreshBooks window, there is not an option to round to 6 minutes (or 0.1 HR). Having that option to export tags to FreshBooks would mean not having to further edit in FreshBooks.

  9. Affinity Plugin

Affinity software by Serif has been growing as an alternative to Adobe graphics applications. It would be great to have document tracking for Affinity apps like there is now with Adobe's.

  10. [security] add client verification of server certificate

Allow the client to require a specific certificate or certificate authority on the server. Manictime carries a lot of potentially sensitive information for me. In theory if someone wanted, they could create a server that would accept any credentials from a manic time client and accepts the entire upload by pretending to be the server the client normally connects to. This would allow the client to validate that the server is in fact who is expected. And as a result stop this potential information leak.

On a more practical note where would this be useful:
    You have a laptop that…

  12. linux client time away tracking configuration

Hi, I've just realize that among a lot of possible tweaks on windows desktop client, you can configure the away time.
Unfortunantly I can't find this tweak on linux client. I would like to tweak it, even if I should find an XML file and change data in there.
    Thanks for your attention.

  14. New & less intrusive Away Time popup mode

    Small suggestion for Away time.

Issue: having that window opening each time can be frustrating if one wants to close it most of the times.

My example: this issue for me occurs when I study with a PDF of exercises opened on the PC, so screen goes off after 5 mins but I take 10mins to do an exercise, when I come back to see the PDF then the window appears with 10min away time, each time I have to close it and that's annoying. I already set 15 minutes to "track inactivity if PC is idle for more than",…

  15. Stopwatch On Linux

One of my primary methods of using ManicTime is via the stopwatch. I've been keeping an eye on ManicTime Linux's development for some time, in hopes of eventually ditching Windows. It sounds like tracking is now pretty much there (except for screenshots) - but I wasn't able to figure out any way to use the stopwatch. Would be great if this would be implemented too!

  17. Visual Indicator for Gaps in Time During Day

Please add a visual indicator for where there are gaps in time during a day greater than a certain amount of time (say 5 to 15 minutes) and allow the addition of a tag for that time.

  18. Custom Naming / Tagging for screenshots within a project

It would be great, if I could be able to group screenshots based on the projects that are opened. I often switch Projects in Cinema 4d and I would like to be able to make a timelapse video based on a single project.

  20. Folderstructure Based Autotagging

I am a freelancer that uses Cinema 4d. I often switch between projects and documents. It would be great to have autotag support files that are used in a defined folder structure.

As an example: I am doing a project for Nike and I create a Nike Folder with an underying folderstructure onto my harddisk. In there, you will find client input, 2D concepts, budget calculations, 3D files, output towards the client. etc. etc.

I then could tell Manitime to autotag every file I create, edit or open from within that folderstructure to be the Nike job.
