  1. Stealth Mode

    Would like a method of installation that is completely invisible, non-stoppable by the end user of the computer. For them to review their timeline, etc., they could use the browser interface at the server via HTTPS. Preferably, the entire desktop piece would run in an unstoppable Windows Service.

  2. xero integration

    I use Xero.com for my invoicing... currently I use Temponia to capture my timesheets and create preliminary invoices which are then posted to Xero.com. I almost always refer back to ManicTime to figure out what I was doing and then manually capture into Temponia.

    I was wondering if there could be ManicTime direct integration with Xero, or if not, then integration with Temponia?

  3. Sum of active time shown on analytics/timeline

    I review my employees time on web app screen analytics/timeline. I need to know the total activate time and look at the applications and files they had open. So it would be great to have the sum of active time to left or right of Computer usage bar

  4. silence pop ups

    I often am sharing my screen for presentations. I've set up the pop-ups to confirm what you're working on. During presentations, it would be great to be able to suppress pop ups for a period of time (1/2 hour increments) rather than have to turn off pop ups then re-enable.

    When editing tagged time to modify the notes or adjust start/end times...

    A) The ability to configure and pin the items appearing on the right.
    Configure: For example, add a custom option for, say, "1 hour" to modify the active field (start, end, duration) by the 1 hour. Start time is active: resets end time to 1 hour later. End time active: resets start time 1 hour earlier.

    Pin: when "Tags" text box is selected, I could "pin" various MRU tags instead of them floating down the list based on last used.

  7. Clicking an entry on the Timesheet will navigate you to that entry on the Day timeline.

    On the TimeSheet when total by 'Day' is selected, I would like to be able to click on a time entry in the timesheet tab and have the application navigate to the first entry on the timeline of the Day tab.

    When I performed this action, ideally the timeline would grey or filter out all other tags and only display the tag I am investigating.

    When I identify an entry in the timeline that needs adjusted it is necessary for me to make a note of that day, the tag of the time entry and use the date control on…

  9. Better JIRA integration and tag display

    The JIRA plugin is really great, but also very slow when there are a lot of projects and issues. And I need to wait ~1 minute to re-scan the tags every time I create a new issue.

    Can it have an option to only scan the projects I subscribed to?

    Also, a lot of times, the issue titles don't fit in the 'tag picker' window, so I'm not sure what I actually clicked on. Please make it resizable!

    Similarly, the 'Add tag' window has a very strange resize behavior, where at the maximum width the 'note' section and the 'tags'…

  10. Scheduled Backups should be enabled by default

    ManicTime has a feature for scheduled backups, however these are not enabled by default. I started using manic time about a month ago... I just had my C drive crash and lost my whole database, if the backups had been enabled by default i would have been able to restore since my documents are synchronized

  11. Auto-clear filter when lower-left-window is cleared (all items tagged)

    In the Day view, if I filter by an application (double-click in the lower-right window).
    Then in the lower-left window I clear all the issues by assigning them to tags, I want the filter to clear automatically and go back to the full application view again. You could make this an option if someone didn't want it to happen.
    I must waste several minutes per day either going down to the filter box and clearing, or clicking to another timeline and back again to clear it. I can't see any reason why I'd want the filter to remain especially if…

  13. Change note separator on QuickBooks interface

    I love how MT allows me to take notes throughout a day, even as I work on different clients and projects, and each client's notes are combined into a single billable total with all the notes in QuickBooks. This is a great capability.

    Small request...When I work several times throughout a day for a given client, and record a separate note each time, the individual notes are passed to QuickBooks combined but automatically separated by a semicolon (;).

    I wonder if this feature could be configurable to suppress the semicolon, or specify a space, or a period. Personally, I prefer…

  14. periodic poll what your working on

    I like the reminder to check what I'm working on. However I find it to be to open. Can ManicTime require a reponse? That way I activaly have to say what I'm working on.

    I would like to extend the request and also ask other questions; like whom I have consulted for the thing I'm working on, is it planned work or ad-hoc, is it my main work of a supporting task that I'm working on.
    I don't want a long survey, just small questions and hence at a different time interval

  15. Jira Plugin: close dialog after work successfully saved to Jira

    Currently for the Jira plugin, when I click Save Work, a window comes up summarising the times logged. When I click Ok to close that window, then "Save tags as Work in JIRA dialog is still showing and I then have to click cancel.
    This dialog should close on success or remain open in the event of a failure.

  16. Minimum Activity Duration - UPDATE/FIX

    Currently the minimum activity duration does not work as a user would expect it.

    Example:

    I set it to 60 seconds.

    I have Chrome open for 5 minutes, this all works good.
    I then have outlook open for 40 seconds
    I then have calculator open for 30 seconds.
    It will list that I have had calculator open for 70 seconds total when it fact that is incorrect.

    My suggestion would be to keep it as the main application Google Chrome until I have had another application open for more than my specified time eg I have calculator open for more…

  17. Jira Tags - Limit tags available to issues configured, pinned, and used with last # of days

    I am currently using the Jira plugin and it works well with the configuration . However one little point that is annoying is that the history of used tags has grown to be years long. This includes the same tag but with notes. This is great for the same day, same week, maybe even month, but beyond that it becomes unwieldy as the newest, most current, unused tags are placed at the bottom of the tag list. If the tags could be the issues that match the Jira tag configs, plus any pinned tag, and then the history of tags…

    ZEI / Timeular provides a hardware time tracking solution (and 8 sided die that communicates w/ your PC /mobile via Bluetooth) that integrates with the Timeular app. Getting that connected to ManicTime would be FANTASTIC.

  20. Option to choose between dedicated tagging screen or standard screen to be opened when clicking on tag reminder

    More often than not, I find the dedicated tagging screen more difficult to use than the standard ManicTime interface. It would be good to provide the user with the option to choose which one displays after clicking on the reminder that pops to ask you to tag the last untagged period of time (this reminder, by the way, is a killer feature from my humble point of view)
