I would like to group some Tags together for some calculations. This could be done either by Grouping Tags to one Aggregating Tag, and thus allowing Tree-Like structure, or by placing Tags to certain Categories (Forest-Like structure).

I made this possible by making tag groups/trees. When I tag anything a tag always is part of en group of three. The first tag is the highest level, the second the middle level and the third the actual tag. All my tags thus look like this : "5.3. Domotics, 5.3.500. Files, 5.3.50020. Maintenance".
I have made a separate Excel table, containing all tags, to allow easier management of all tags. In this excel I can add new projects. The excel automatically generates the tag tree needed for each specific task within each project/sub-project. I then add the new tag tree to MT to allow easy selection.
Whenever I enter a tag, the search window shows all tags with maintenance (for example) allowing me to select which group/sub group the specific maintenance belongs to.
It works fine for me.
