Linux version (still tracker only) now works on Ubuntu, Mint, CentOS, RedHat, Debian and Arch Linux.
ManicTime Server also works on Linux, so while still not ideal, you can run ManicTime Server (for UI) and Linux tracker both on Linux.
I just tried to install it on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS over wine, but since it is build with "Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 (x86 and x64)" it was not possible. If it was only built with .NET 4.0 it should have been installed successfully.
I dont think Google calendar is an option. Alone for the privacy.
Gcal? Why use other applications?

Timer in the taskbar (or elsewhere) when main window minimized. Right now if I work on something, and I set a stop-timer or a Pomodoro timer I would like to know the remaining time.
Additionally, it would be great, if I put a headset, to hear a click each x seconds (like the pomodoro technique is actually supposed to be).
