I have a feature request ...

ManicTime for Mac OS

As a big supporter of Manictime I have now started to work with Apple computers.
ManicTime for mac is extremely desirable as there are several consultants that I know of that wishes a similar tool for Mac.

We have Mac tracker (tracking apps, browser usage with our browser plugin and screenshots), Mac server and now also cloud option.
So there are two ways to use it on the Mac, either with on premise server or our cloud.

We realize that this does not satisfy everybody supporting this idea, but we need suggestions for more specific ideas.
So we suggest more specific feature ideas are opened, so we can see which features are most desired and work on that.

Since you only provide a tracker for mac, what about providing a hosted version of the server?

Holy Moly, how can you *not* tag time in the Mac version? We were just on the verge of purchasing 40 licenses, but if our Mac users can't even do something as simple as tag their own time then the entire purpose of the app is moot.

As it seems from the level of development, not much has been done for mac-only users which is unfortunate but may be a matter of priority for the developer. Please consider building a full client for Mac users.

I would love to see a full Mac OS client, but in lieu of that just being able to efficiently view the timeline and tag things in the server (like in the client) would do. At the moment I can see a list in the timeline, but I can't (a) multi-select/range-select items, or (b) tag them. These two things would be essential to making it usable for tracking my time - which is the whole purpose of the thing.

So, if I understand this, it doesn't really run on the Mac, as you need to run the .msi on a PC somewhere?

Just switched from PC to Mac. Purchased ManicTime license 2 months ago. Really disappointed to see that I can't even use the software anymore...given that I need to run a Windows server....just to view my data from my Mac.

Doesn't really make sense. Please fix this.

I used to use ManicTime every day. I happily paid for it. But then it just made more sense to switch to a mac laptop.......I still miss it.

As far as I know the client is Java based so a full client port should not be too difficult if proven to be economical? And if the Android vs iOS trends are any indication then Apple users are more willing to pay for quality software.

Hi, I love ManicTime and used it for years on windows machine. Now I'm using mac and would like to keep using it. All I really need to do is track what was done when for personal use. It would be great if there was a stand alone app for Mac.

Can we use ManicTime Mac with the free version? It says it requires server version, and I think there is no free version of the server, no?

Manictime is all about standalone and desktop as for me and so is this feature request.
There are a bunch of cloud alternatives and I found them hard to use.
Tracker statistics shouldn't be on the page somewhere in the browser. It should be always visible and processable on the desktop.
    Just thoughts.
